It’s not difficult to see why this Gallica has survived well over a hundred years in commerce and in our gardens. We find this to be one of the very best of its class for excellence of bloom, fragrance and trouble free, vigorous growth. The shrub will easily attain a height of five feet, and about as wide. ‘Duc de Guiche’ blooms for approximately four to six weeks in early Summer, with 4 inch fully double blooms in shades of crimson, dark pink and purple.
