Introduced by David Austin in 1999, this English Shrub rose is named for the second wife of Henry VIII. It is a soft, graceful plant that produces large clusters of warm, rosy-pink blooms. Each flower is a shallow rosette packed with over 100 petals, often showing a hint of yellow at the base that gives the center a subtle glow. The fragrance is light and notably fruity, carrying the scent of fresh pears. Unlike some of its larger cousins, 'Anne Boleyn' remains compact and mounding, making it ideal for the front of a garden bed or a large pot. Its polished, mid-green foliage stays clean throughout the season, providing a tidy backdrop for its repeat flushes of bloom from June until the first frost. Photo by Geolina163 CC BY-SA 4.0
