Known as the Jacobite Rose or Great Double White. Prune a few canes to keep low and train horizontally to clothe the long canes and encourage rampant flowering. Good against a support structure or a tall fence. Makes a lovely display as a pillar rose. I adore all the Albas and this is a really wonderful one that requires almost no care. Has lovely healthy grayblue Alba foliage. Unknown before 1499.
