Overview

Several authors seem to feel this is a hybrid with a Gallica. It is nearly thornless and has darker green leaves, not typical of an Alba. The blooms are pale pink with paler edges and a sweet fragrance. Train the long canes horizontally for more lateral bloom. Unknown before 1815.
