This is the white sport of Rose de Meaux. Our parent stock has a very dependably occuring dark pink tuft of petals at the center. There are often several blooms open on upright canes making it look a bit like a tiny hollyhock or clarkia. This is a truly unique rose, a conversation piece for the front of the border. Discovered in 1691.
