The long, strong stems and velvety, deep red blooms have a long vase life, making this a popular choice for cutting gardens. This exhibition rose won the Alexander Gamble Fragrance Medal from the American Rose Society in 1974. It was also elected into the World Federation of Rose Societies Hall of Fame in 1988.
