Mondiale-Pink

One of the florist world’s most coveted roses is finally available to specialist home gardeners. Sought after by designers for its perfect form and long stems, this florist-style cutting rose is rare in garden collections — and rewards growers who give it the attentive care needed to match the iconic florist photographs. Pink Mondiale opens a mid pink with guard petals that take on a subtle green wash in hot weather. The bush is vigorous and upright, producing long, straight stems ideal for cutting. Flowers keep exceptionally well—vase life exceeds seven days under good conditions. This is the first time we’ve offered this highly regarded florist cutting rose to home gardeners. In our climate you can expect a pleasing range of colour tones from flush to muted shades. For specialists: treat it as a true cutting rose—regular feeding, careful pruning for single stems, and keen attention to water and light will bring out the form and longevity that make it so prized.
