This is a very rare mauvey pink rose that has been described by several as ‘one of Geschwinds best’. The buds are fat and open cupped, then quartered, with the outer petals lighter pink than the inner ones which can have deep tones in cool weather. The flowers are lightly fragrant and occur in clusters. Introduced in 1886.
