What Growers Notice

Notes, Photos, and Shared Experience

Read the overview first, then look through shared photos and real grower notes to get a better feel for how this rose behaves.

Overview

Bred from Distant Drums, the 4" blooms of Distant Thunder™ are much like those of its parent with lavender/pink  flowers with hints of gold, brown, and mocha. She is extremely fragrant with a fruity, myrrh scent. Flowers are produced in profusion on this continually blooming, compact, bushy plant with foliage all the way to the ground. Expect new foliage to be a rich, reddish bronze color aging to deep olive-green with red veins and beautiful, serrated red edges.
