This is Ralph Moore’s modern, smaller, version of the old ‘Crested Moss’ sport of ‘Centifolia’. It is a pretty rose in the bud, with its crest, and in bloom, though it has yet to repeat here. Our photo does not capture the clear fuchsia pink. Last spring we had a pot of CJ sitting next to the clear pastel yellow of Graham Thomas and in front of the violet blue tones of Bleu Magenta—a remarkable combination of colors. Introduced in 1971.
