Blanche Moreau

This is one of my favorite moss roses. The foliage and moss are a dark, almost black green providing an elegant contrast with the pure fully double white blooms which have a button eye, sometimes with a green point. Pegging results in lush flowering all along the stems. Introduced in 1880.
