Amy Johnson is a climber by the famous Australian hybridizer, Alister Clark whose roses are just now becoming available in this country. The petals are wavy and open well to show the red anthers. It blooms recurrently according to Quest-Ritson and has good scent. Our young plant seems quite vigorous though subject to a bit of mildew later in the season. Introduced in 1931.
