This is a very hardy, very early blooming rugosa. The blooms are fully double light yellow with deeper tones of buff and amber upon opening at the center of the bloom. They are borne on short stalks, along the arching canes of the bush. Occasionally a few blooms may appear later in the season after the spring flush. Introduced in 1900.
