Named for the French expression for cherry season, 'Le Temps des Cerises' is a floribunda bearing fully double mauve blooms of roughly 80 petals, opening to four inches.
The fragrance is strong, and the flowers come in clusters all season, with a notable flush in autumn. At about four feet tall, it suits beds, borders and mixed plantings.
