Overview

Climbing Miniature (Dr. David Zlesak, United States, 2017)

We are honored and excited to introduce the 2025 American Rose Society Award of Excellence winner Louise Hansen into commerce. Louise Hansen is yet another gem from Dr. David Zlesak, this rose is a tough climbing miniature that grows reliably to 6 feet and may get taller in warmer areas.  Cane hardy in zone 4 and disease resistant.  Clusters of striking orange red blooms cover this climber in flushes throughout the growing season with a light fragrance.

Louise Hansen was a active member of the Green Bay horticultural community, a nursery owner, and members of the Northeast Wisconsin Rose Society.
