Overview

This elegant, long-stemmed, extra-fragrant hybrid tea boasts velvety red, fully double, 4–5" blooms of stunning form—each is packed with 40–45 petals—and remarkable size. What's more, this repeat bloomer will give you 150% more flowers in its first year than any other bareroot rose on the market. And because it's a hybrid tea, it not only looks magnificent in the garden but also indoors when used in arrangements of cut flowers.Plants are vigorous and bushy, with lots of clean, green leaves and almost no thorns.

Current Notes

'Firefighter ®' rose, a dark red Hybrid Tea variety bred by Joseph Orard, features large, full blooms with a strong, fruity fragrance, reminiscent of old rose and raspberry. The flowers have 40 to 45 petals, with an average diameter of 4.5 inches. This tall, almost thornless rose reaches 5 to 6 feet in height and is very disease resistant. It blooms in flushes throughout the season and is suitable for USDA zones 6b through 9b. 'Firefighter ®' was named in honor of the firefighters who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Well-rooted in a 9cm pot. Canada only. firefighter
