Overview

Originally introduced into Endland about 1880, but was then forgotten about and re-introduced in the 1940's. Does get black spot in Florida where it is hard to grow Gallicas. A drier climate is better.

Current Notes

This damask-portland rose bears beautifully scented deep pink flowers on short stems. Overall, a tidy shrub, though it does sucker a bit on its own roots. Further details and pictures here.
