Overview
Bred by James Cocker of Scotland and introduced in 1976, this Floribunda is renowned for its vibrant, glowing color and exceptionally healthy foliage. The blooms are semi-double and ruffled, opening flat to display a striking blend of orange, scarlet, and yellow that creates a distinct "flame" effect, centered by a prominent golden eye. They are produced in heavy trusses that cover the bush throughout the season. The plant is compact and bushy, typically growing three to four feet tall, but its most distinctive feature is its foliage: the leaves are incredibly glossy, dark green, and leathery, providing a perfect foil for the bright flowers and offering outstanding disease resistance. It carries a light to moderate sweet apple fragrance.
