'Alchymist' is a vigorous climbing rose that grows up to 10 feet tall, with thorny stems and glossy green foliage that emerges bronze. It produces large, very full blooms measuring 4–5 inches across, in shades of yellow blended with apricot and pink. The flowers have a strong, old-fashioned fragrance and a quartered rosette form, appearing in an abundant, single summer flush. Thriving in full sun with well-drained, fertile soil, this rose is hardy to USDA Zone 4 and known for its robust health, though it may show some susceptibility to blackspot in humid conditions. Perfect for trellises, walls, or as a freestanding shrub, ‘Alchymist’ adds charm and fragrance to any garden.
